Andar Bahar looks simple. Joker card, Andar or Bahar, done. But five small things separate players who win consistently from players who donate their bankroll.
1. Bet Andar for the Lower House Edge
Andar gets the first card after the Joker. That gives Andar a 51.5 percent win rate. Bahar wins 48.5 percent. Andar pays 0.9:1 (Rs 90 profit on Rs 100). Bahar pays 1:1 (Rs 100 profit). Over a long session, betting Andar loses less money.
2. Skip the Side Bets
Some tables offer colour bets (red/black), card count over/under and specific card bets. These pay bigger but carry 5 to 8 percent house edge. The main Andar/Bahar bet has 2.15 percent edge. Treat side bets as lottery tickets, not strategy.
3. Watch the Dealer’s Rhythm
Live dealers deal at a consistent pace. If the last three matching cards landed on Bahar, the next one is not “due” to land on Andar. RNG and physical shuffles do not work that way. But watching helps you stay calm and avoid panic betting.
4. Set a Stop-Loss Before You Sit
Decide: I will stop if I lose Rs 500. Write it down. When you hit it, close the table. Andar Bahar rounds take 15 seconds. A bad session can burn Rs 2,000 in five minutes.
5. Use the Bet History
RS9 Bet shows the last 20 round results on the table. Not for pattern betting (patterns do not predict future rounds) but to track your own win rate. If you are down 15 rounds out of 20, take a break.
| Bet | Payout | House Edge |

| Bahar | 1:1 | 5.00% |
| Colour (side) | 0.9:1 | 2.15% |
